The design was inspired by the old wool duvets in the Turkish culture and the traditional British quilt. The red colour is the national colour of both countries (Turkey and England). One symbolising the braveness and for the other culture, symbolising the power. Thus, on the blankets the colour red dissolving from the middle to the edge, almost like the two cultures neutralising one and other. The blanket is a symbol for being surrounded/part of these two cultures and how they would come together in one personality.
